Behind the Canvas: Bringing Your Vision to Life

Updated: 8 hours ago

Every painting in my collection tells a story, but there is something uniquely rewarding about capturing your inner vision on canvas.

My creative process is a journey that starts in silence, but when I work on a commissioned piece, it becomes a beautiful, shared dialogue.

"Commissioned piece for Marzena – a blend of intuition, texture, and personal memory." Carlow 2025

How we work together (General guidelines):

  1. The Connection: We start with a conversation about your space, your preferred colours, and the emotions you want to invite into your home.

  2. The Concept: I draft a vision, selecting textures and techniques that align with your unique aesthetic.

  3. The Creation: I share regular updates, ensuring the piece evolves in harmony with your vision.

  4. The Reveal: The final work is a bespoke element of your life, crafted with intuition and professional attention to detail.

A Story of a Shared Vision Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Marzena. She came to me with a deeply personal, almost elusive memory she wanted to transform into art.

We met in her home to discuss the space where the painting would live, taking precise measurements and exploring her emotional landscape. We settled on a theme: a woman in a forest, surrounded by birds, with a sense of gentle melancholy and meditative calm. She wanted pastel colours and a signature heavy-texture dress, a technique that adds a tactile, physical presence to the canvas.

As you can see in the work picture, the process involved constant communication. Through WhatsApp, we consulted on every detail—I guided Marzena on why certain elements work better in the background, while others become the focal point.

The result? Marzena wrote to me recently saying that when she sits in her living room, she feels a profound sense of peace and gratitude for this "piece of miracle" that she couldn’t express in words herself.

Ready to start a new chapter in your space?

I am currently accepting a limited number of commissions for 2026.

Let's create something truly unique together.

Commissioning Your Unique Artwork: How We Work Together

I believe that every commissioned piece is a co-creation. Here is how I ensure we bring your vision to life:

  • Consultation: We begin with a conversation—either in person or via video call—to discuss your space, your preferred colours, and the emotions you want the painting to evoke.

  • Initial Deposit: To secure your spot and start the creative process, a non-refundable deposit is required after our initial agreement.

  • Concept & Vision: I sketch the initial idea to ensure we are aligned. Once we finalise the dimensions and direction, the creative journey begins.

  • Process & Updates: I share regular progress updates (via WhatsApp or email), ensuring the piece evolves exactly as you envisioned.

  • Flexibility: Should you decide to introduce significant changes (such as size adjustments), a minor adjustment fee may apply to cover additional materials and time.

  • Final Completion & Framing: Once the painting is approved and finalised, the remaining balance is due upon collection or before delivery. Please note that framing is optional and is billed separately.

  • Delivery: I personally ensure your artwork is ready to be enjoyed in your home.
