IF YOU ORDERED THROUGH THIS WEBSITE
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the work, without giving a reason. To cancel, email belwirainfo@gmail.com within those 14 days.
Once you have told us you are cancelling, you have a further 14 days to return the work. Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please return the painting in its original packaging, in the condition it reached you.
Your refund will be issued within 14 days of the work arriving back with us.

IF YOU BOUGHT IN PERSON AT THE STUDIO
When you choose a painting in person, you see the actual work before you take it. Purchases made at the studio are not distance sales, so the 14 day cancellation right does not apply to them.
If you ordered online and collected the work rather than having it shipped, the 14 day right above still applies.

COMMISSIONED WORK
A commission is made for you, to your brief. Under consumer law, works made to a customer's specification are excluded from the 14 day cancellation right, so a commission cannot be cancelled once it has begun.
Before work starts we agree a deposit with you. The amount is discussed and confirmed with you in advance, and the deposit is non-refundable. It covers the materials bought specifically for your piece. If you decide not to continue once the painting is under way, the deposit is not returned.

IF YOUR PAINTING ARRIVES DAMAGED
Please check the work as soon as it reaches you and tell us straight away at belwirainfo@gmail.com, with photographs of the packaging and the damage.
You do not need to deal with the courier yourself. We will take the damaged work back and, once we have agreed the best route with you, either repair it and send it out again, or refund what you paid. Any claim against the carrier is ours to make.
When you collect a painting in person, please look it over before you take it.

WORKS RETURNED LONG AFTER PURCHASE
These are original, one off pieces. We are not able to take back a painting months or years after purchase because it no longer suits the room, or after a long period on display.

LOOKING AFTER A PAINTING YOU ALREADY OWN
If a painting you own is damaged in normal use, we can restore it. Within 12 months of purchase this is free. After 12 months there is a modest restoration charge. Write to us and we will quote before doing anything.
Frames damaged by the owner after delivery are not covered.

YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law, including your rights if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
