About the Artwork "Thought-Jump" captures a very intimate, powerful moment of reflection at the edge of the cliffs—looking down from above into the deep, inviting blue waters below. When I am out there with my family, we embrace the thrill of jumping from the rocks together. But when I am standing in that same wild environment entirely alone, a different emotion takes over: a deep hesitation, a moment of profound contemplation, and yet, an underlying, burning desire to take that leap, push past my boundaries, and continue discovering and growing.
Part of my ongoing collection, "Fragments of Existence" (previewing this November at RDS Art Source Dublin), this artwork represents the depth of my thoughts, awe, and the courage it takes to evolve. Life asks us to take leaps of faith, even when we feel entirely on our own.
The Creative Process & Technique Created by professional contemporary Irish artist Elwira Bernaciak, this piece is built on a thick, premium 4 cm deep-edge canvas, showcasing an immersive 3D effect.
Technique: Heavy sculptural modeling paste, rich layers of blues and greens, and delicate gold leaf highlights that catch the light along the rocky ridges.
