Takeover is a study in nature’s unyielding resilience. In this piece, the 'portal' manifests as a dense, sculpted undergrowth—thorny, organic forms built up in high relief that spiral outward like a chain.
These raised, metallic-adorned structures create a raw, tactile contrast to the delicately painted dragonfly, which remains smooth, flat, and poised in a moment of quiet grace.
Inspired by the hidden beauty of Irish parkland, this work invites you to look past the surface and contemplate the strength required to simply exist and thrive.
