BElwira Art is the trading name of Elwira Bernaciak, a visual artist based in Carlow, Ireland. This policy explains what we do with your personal information when you use belwiraart.com, buy a painting, commission a work, book a studio visit or join the mailing list.

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you order: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and order details.

When you join the mailing list: your first name and email address.

When you book a studio visit or a workshop: your name, contact details and the time you booked.

When you contact us: whatever you choose to write to us.

When you browse the site: standard technical information such as pages visited, collected by our website platform.

We never see or store your full card details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment providers.

WHY WE USE IT

To take, pack and send your order, and to keep you informed about it.

To discuss and deliver a commission.

To manage bookings.

To answer your messages.

To send you occasional news about new work and exhibitions, only if you asked for it.

To meet our legal and tax obligations.

WHO ELSE SEES IT

We pass on only what is needed for each step, and each of these companies handles your information under its own privacy policy.

Wix hosts this website and the online shop.

Revolut and PayPal process payments.

The courier company carrying your order receives your name, delivery address and phone number so that it can deliver. We use established courier companies and choose one for each shipment according to the destination.

Our accountant, where required for tax records.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Order and sales records are kept for as long as Irish tax law requires. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries that do not lead to a sale are kept only as long as they are useful, and then deleted.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR you may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable form. You may object to us using it, and you may withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
