Summer watermelon hunt

In summer, watermelon is one of favorite fruit in our home.
New taste discovery, summer solstice and time spent in the garden. Stealing watermelon pieces of watermelon by family members.
That's how the 3D watermelon painting idea came about.
Original acrylic and mixed media painting on canvas w40xh50cm , frame 49cmx59cm ( strand framing ).

Multi-layered painting, a new texture create with clay, gesso and acrylic paint.
Use painting knife and a delicate brush stroke and sponge. Metalc paint additives to get a better visual effect.
