My one of the favourite places for walking in Dublin. I am reading a few facts about this amazing place and I want to share it with you.
_ Poolbeg Lighthouse in Dublin Bay was built in 1768 (operated on candlepower) - reputedly the first in the word to do so- but changed to oil in 1786 _
The Lighthouse is located on the Great South Wall, the wall was the world's longest at the time of its building and remains one of the longest sea-walls in Europe._
