Originally conceived as a literal scene, Elwira chose to transform the composition, removing human figures to make way for a more symbolic interpretation. The "balloon-tree" stands as a whimsical yet profound placeholder for the many celebrations and milestones that have taken place in this sacred valley—a silent witness to the echoes of the past.
